As reported in Nevil's latest Newsletter Tuesday's Club Night 9 holes and the B Team match v Willesley Park were in jeopardy as there was had a complete white-out on the course mid-afternoon!

Luckily everyone managed to get out to play and Alan Kinvig won the 9 holes this week with 18 points.

There are still spaces available on our Mixed Invitation Day, Sunday 27th May, with free tee times between 12 and 2pm.

The format is 4-ball better-ball stableford with the prize-giving at 7pm followed by a meal.

Competition Entry Fee: £10.00 per couple. Cost of the meal: £12.50 each

We all know that both Ethan Evans and Liam McKenna qualified to play in the Finals of the County Academy Par 3 Junior Golf Tour. This was held on May 7th at Nailcote Hall in Warwickshire, which is the home of The British Par 3 Championship.

The weather on the day was absolutely foul. Not only was it very cold but, raining as well.

So I am very pleased to report that Liam came 9th in his division (for those with CONGU handicaps) and Ethan picked up the medal for the better back 9 in his division, which is for the 9 year olds and under.
