Lady Captain's Charity Lunch

Over 100 ladies attended the Lady Captain's Charity Lunch yesterday, Wednesday 26th Feb, to raise funds for Alzheimer's Research UK. Thank you to all the ladies for supporting the event as it was a new venture for us this year.

Guest speaker was Alison Nicholas MBE, captain of the victorious 2011 Solheim Cup Team, who provided a fascinating insight into her life on the Ladies European and LPGA golf tours as well as sharing some of her experiences as a Solheim Cup Captain. This gave everyone a great "view from inside the ropes"!

It was a fantastic start to Lady Captain Amanda Horne's fundraising activities for her charity, Alzheimer's Research UK, as proceeds from the lunch together with the silent auction raised over £2500!
