Congratulations to Kathryn Mann on being the first Double Century Club first prize winner! The draw being made at the AGM last night.

Although we haven't reached the 200 member level yet organisers Jill Sly and David Lester have managed to recruit 102 members so far, 40 of them being ladies! So come on guys, support your club like the ladies are doing, it's only £5 a month and it's not too late to join!

You don't have to be present when the draw is made and the money is put into a separate account to be used for a worthwhile club project. Just over £6000 has been raised so far for a Special Project which is fantastic! One possible project would be an on-course block of loos to replace the two Portaloos that we currently rent.

We have had a call from another local club who were interested in setting up a similar scheme so well done to Jill and Dave for their hard work in getting this scheme off the ground.
