The Brocton Hall Pro-Am is on Friday 23rd August this year. If you played last year, Nevil will be in touch to see if you would like your spot reserved again as last year we hit the maximum number of teams and there was a reserve list.

Welcome to Luke Howe!
Welcome to our new PGA Assistant Professional Luke Howe! As you might have read in Nevil's newsletter Luke started this week in the Brocton Hall Golf Centre.
Luke worked at the Izaak Walton G.C. Pro Shop for 2 years and has also spent time as a fitness instructor at Gym & Tonic. He turned professional last year and he can certainly play - winning the Little Aston pro-am by 5 shots with a 6 under par 65 last autumn and he also came second in the PGA Midland Region qualifying school last week shooting -3 under par!

Good luck to Jon Watts who is leaving us take up the position of Head Professional at Drayton Park G.C near Tamworth. Jon takes over there at the beginning of April but you still might see him about as he finishes off lessons and Brocton Junior Academy Days over the next couple of weeks. After that the Brocton Junior Coaching programme will continue with our Head Pro Nevil Bland back out there!

Easter Junior Academy Golf Days
If you're a junior golfer and want to improve your golfing skills our Head Teaching Pro Jon Watts has Junior Golf Academy Days organised during the Easter school holidays on Thursday 4th April and Tuesday 9th April.
The Academy Day runs from 9.30 am till 3.30pm, all areas of the game are covered with fun competitions and a prize presentation!
