The Course - Hole 12

  Yards 458  Par 4  SI 1
  Yards 455  Par 4  SI 1
  Yards 339  Par 4  SI 10

Pro's Tip:

A tough par four that requires a good drive either at or just right of the marker post to open up the green - a good drive too will get the benefit of the downslope that is over the brow.

The second is an exacting shot that is better a little long than too short as there is a stream and a ridge between you and the green.

If in doubt about the carry maybe a lay-up short of the stream would be prudent - a par here is always a great score.

Tom Scott:

"There is a little respite when you step off the (11th) green, for although (this) .. is forty yards longer it is now a bogey five. The tee-shot is of paramount importance here and should be directed well to the right for there is out-of-bounds trouble on the left.

There is also a stream at this hole to worry the scratch man who is trying to get the green in two.

I think I will leave this very fine hole by saying it is one of the best holes on the course."
