Brocton Hall Juniors help George achieve his dream
One of our junior members at Brocton Hall is inspiring 9 year old George Booth who has Becker Muscular Dystrophy, a rare muscle wasting condition. George and his family have been raising funds for a much-needed lightweight, all terrain wheelchair, to give him independence in getting to school and the park on his own, plus the freedom to participate in activities that have been out of reach. Brocton Hall Junior Section and friends at the Club rose to the challenge and raised £361 towards George’s fund, and we are pleased to announce that George is now the proud owner of a Tre kinetic power chair. Any additional donations received have been passed on to the Muscular Dystrophy Society. A huge thank you to all and George, we look forward to seeing you at the Club soon!
