Hannah's Chasing the Dream

Bridgestone Chase Your Dream Trophy - Wednesday 5th September

Congratulations to Hannah Golding who was part of the winning team in the Bridgestone Challenge Pro-Am! This was the final stage of the Bridgestone Chase Your Dream Trophy and Hannah will now go forward, with the team, to play in the Pro-Am of the British Masters, supported by Sky Sports, at Close House, Northumberland on 27 September.

You never know, she might end up playing with Sergio Garcia or Lee Westwood!

Hannah, (one of our Juniors), first qualified to play in the Midlands North Regional Qualifier as the representative from Brocton Hall Ladies' Section. She successfully qualified for the women’s final of the Bridgestone Chase Your Dream Trophy which was held on the world-renowned Hotchkin course at Woodhall Spa, the home of England Golf. She then was one of the 18 amateurs (9 men, 9 women) to win places to compete in the Bridgestone Challenge Pro-Am.

Hannah, along with Neil Garbutt and Mike Durkin, teamed up with professional Ben Evans to score 85 points in the Pro-Am of the Bridgestone Challenge which was held at at Luton Hoo – the English leg of the Challenge Tour.

Their professional partner, Challenge Tour player Ben Evans, was full of praise for their play. “They were great, everyone contributed, Hannah probably a little more than the others which was great to see. She hit the ball amazingly well and she has a bright future.”
