Hannah Golding wins her second Sport Staffordshire Borough Award this time in the category Under 18 Sports Performer of the Year- Female . The awards were held at the County Show Ground on Friday 27th April.
In 2016 Hannah won the Staffordshire Most Improved Sports Performer at the Stafford Brough Sports Awards for 2015, this time she was nominated in the Under 18 Sports Performer of the Year category for her performances in 2017.
Hannah's competition in the category was tough as she was competing against an athlete Amy Pye, who in 2017 broke a 20 year record in her discipline, Bethan Rees, an athlete in the Javelin where she finished up the No 1 in Wales at all ages and 3rd ranked in the all time Welsh Senior rankings and Connie Mae Cartwright who, in Karate, became the English and British champion.
Hannah, in 2017, was again selected to the England Under 16 Regional Squad (West Midlands) and represented them on 4 occasions. She finished 2nd in the Ladies Open Scratch competition and won the North of England U14 girls Championship, in September she also won a place in the Bridgestone Chase your Dreams Trophy and ended up playing in the British Masters Pro- Am.
Hannah, along with Amy Pye, was awarded 1st place.
Hannah was supported on the night by her parents and members form Brocton Hall Golf Club- Ellie Ashley Brown (Junior Captain) Jane Parrott (Lady Captain), Christine Davies, Mary Robertson and Dianne Ferriday.
