President’s Day 2020 Juniors Competition Report

On behalf of the Junior Section I would like to thank Mr. President, Peter Bright, for giving the Junior Section this special competition. Plus, not only did he give two prizes, which were vouchers for the Pro’s Shop but he supplied all the juniors (at no cost to them) with a sausage bap, chips and squash afterwards. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate Mr. President.

We had 12 juniors taking part with a mixture from all the Tees, White; Yellow; Red; Blue which only goes to show the make-up and inclusivity of our Club and Section. 

There were some good scores, with the Winner being Kade Stewart, (Yellow Tees), scoring 19 points and who received a Voucher for £25. Runner-up was Freddie Booth (Blue Tees), with 18 points and received a Voucher for £20. This was very generous of the President.

Both are shown below with Mr. President – socially distanced of course! David Haenelt (Yellow Tees), just missed out on a prize scoring 17 points. Well done everyone.

Thank you to the ladies who kept the Halfway House open for our juniors.

Additional thanks to Mary who had a long day, being first in the Halfway House for the main competitors, then coming back, going on the Course and taking all the photos. Thanks Lady President
